You may remember the alleged ugly bust-up between Paris and the mild-mannered Shannen Doherty (of ‘Beverley Hills 90210’ fame) over Rick Soloman – Shannen’s hubby, who ran into Paris Hilton's arms when he and Shannen separated a while back.

Well, Shan and Rick have repaired the marriage and are dreamily happy again, but things are likely to get a little dicey now that a sex video of Rick and Paris has just hit the internet. Says someone lucky enough to have witnessed this coupling of the beautiful people: “Paris keeps staring into the camera and trying to show her best side. She knows she is being taped and Rick keeps trying to get her into sex positions that are better for taping, if you know what I mean.”

Now, it may sound as if I’m not a big Paris fan – but I really do have to admire the sheer force of her I’ll-do-anything-as-long-as-it-makes-me-famous’ determination to stay in the spotlight. But while she may have taken some tips from the Demi Moore school of celebrity, Paris is lucky enough not to have to worry about the typical movie-star image problems – she’s going to get all that money whether she’s the world’s sweetheart or not.

Paris’s rep had the following to say about the unfortunate tape leakage: “This was something she did with Rick while they were dating, after he was no longer with Shannen, and it was something that was intended for their own personal use. This tape was never intended to be viewed by the public and it is in poor taste that someone has decided to release it.”

Forgive me for saying that I kind of think this is exactly the sort of poor taste Ms Hilton lives for!
